Alderdice Foot Valves are a high quality valve made of Gunmetal Bronze which is suitable for many applications including sea water. They have a nitrile faced valve giving a positive non-return seal and the barrel shaped body allows an easy flow around the valve. They also have a coarse suction screen to reduce particles from entering the pump system.
Foot valves are used in pressure systems to hold the prime in the pump and prevent back flow to water source such as pond or stream.
