Ball Check Valves are an extremely reliable design for vertical or horizontal installations. The rubber coated ball is free inside the valve body to move completely out of the main flow stream to avoid restrictions and blockages common with waste water, this also requires less pressure to open than spring loaded check valve. The BRV valves are also easily serviceable via the removable ball cover plate.
