‘The Davies DW series motors are high quality 4” water filled submersible motors with Kingsbury type thrust bearings for long service life in the toughest conditions. They have a serviceable lead with flanged connection for perfect sealing. The motor has full 304 stainless construction with cast top NEMA flange, high strength spline with rubber sand guard.’Motors designed to work in 4” or wider wells, suitable to be used in clean water.
Single phase motor require control box – sold separately.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES:
• Rewindable 2-pole asynchronous motor with airtight sealed and resin encapsulated stator 4” NEMA Standard
• Full stainless steel motor (AISI 304)
• Kingsbury thrust bearing system
• AISI 304 stainless steel projection shaft. Made in DUPLEX in motors bigger than 3 Hp
• Removable power cable-connector (KTW, ACS, WRAS approved)
OPERATING LIMITS:
• Max. immersion depth: 300 m
• vMax. pumped liquid temperature: +35°C (+95°F)
• Min. cooling flow: 0,1 m/s (0,328 ft/s)
• Max. starts / hour: 30
• Mounting: vertical and / or horizontal
• Degree of protection: IP68
