FLOMAT – Paddle Flow Switch – 1”, 250VAC with Delay Timer

The FLOMAT paddle flow switch is designed to control or protect a pump with a timer override function to allow the pump to start when power is supplied but while the paddle is not activated (no flow). The paddle switch override timer is adjustable from 0 – 10 seconds with a test button for simple operation testing.

When power is supplied to the FLOMAT the Control Relay pulls which allows the pump to start immediately. If after the time set the flow is not greater than 20l/m to activate paddle, the FLOMAT will turn the pump off. It will also turn off should the flow stop at any time.

The electrical components are housed in a separate enclosure to the paddle mechanism and is activated by a magnet located in the head of the paddle. Paddle is made of glass reinforced polyamide for superior wear resistance and can be used in pipes from 1″ to 4″ in diameter. Main body requires a 1″ tee to pipe for installation.

The FLOMATs high sensitivity allows control of flows down to 20l/m.
